The 777th MP Company is deploying troops and are having a send off on the 9th of September at 10:00 a.m.
They are leaving from the Taylor National Guard Armory on Beech Daly just North of Northline.
I thought it would be a chance to let these Warriors know we support them and get a nice crowd there to do so.

Michigan Military Moms

Is a support group for moms with sons and daughters serving in the United States military (not to be confused with Moms serving in the military).
All off our efforts focus on the support of each other and our children in the military. We support one another in our joys and our sorrows, with a level of understanding that can only be found among other Moms whose children are or have served in the military.
Besides the socializing and networking that take place at every meeting, we also participate in activities such as the following:
- Packaging meetings for our troops.
- Crafting meetings to create items for our troops.
- The arranging of guest speakers knowledgeable in the needs of
our military children and their family members.
- Activities organized by other groups that support our troops
and/or veterans of the U.S. military.
- Holiday parades and other civic events.
All of our meetings and all of our activities are based in love, support, pride and friendship for our children and for each other. |

A Military Mother's Prayer |
|
|
|
Dear Lord,
Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between a mother's love and duty to country.
Give me understanding that I may know when duty calls them they must go.
Give me a task to do each day to fill my thoughts when they're away.

And Lord, when they're in a foreign land keep them safe in your loving hand.
And Lord, when duty is in the field please protect them and be their shield.
And Lord, when deployment is so long please give me the support to remain strong.
Amen
